BD IS A BULL IN A CHINESE SHOP.

Politics is team game like football and not an individual game like lawn tennis.

In team game, the coach and player try to appreciate individuals strengths and weaknesses and work towards a common goal of winning a game and ultimately a trophy.

 A team game requires discipline, tolerance, calm, cooperation and maturity.

 When you look at

 the qualities required in team game such as politics, BD Lawal lacks all the qualities of a good politician. He lacks discipline, is rancurous, impatient, disrespectful, temperental, cantankerous, and lacks depth. Diplomacy that is ability to speak with a lot of caution, niceties and using sweet and soothing language to carry people along even hardened enemies is not in his character. His greatest asset is being abusive and combative. 

 What i find it very incredulous about him is accusing people what they are not, while forgetting the accusation actually fits him

 

 A little comparison between him and Vice president Atiku Abubakar may give the graphic picture what he is and what A A is not.

 He accused A A of religious and ethnic bigotry. Let me make clear that I'm not A A fan. He has his unavoidable flaws, but certainly not bigotry. 

 These are the unassailable facts about A A that belies BD's unsubstantiated allegations:

1 when A A was elected the vice president of OBJ and was still the elected Governor of Adamawa and when he was about to vacate his office of the Governor, he insisted the office be occupied by the Deputy Governor elect, Boni Haruna(BH), to the chagrin of large portion of the muslim and fulani population. He stood his ground and the matter went to supreme court and he won and that singular action became a landmark judgement. That was not all, despite opposition to the second term of BH by his kinsmen, A A put all his arsenals to get BH re elected. We will want to know from BD if BH is a fulani or Muslim.

2 I stand to corrected by anybody that when A A had opportunity in the first tenure of OBJ, A A'S appointments' from Adamawa were largely Christian. Boss Mustapha, sole Administrator of PTF, late Wilberforce Juta, Ambassador Shamaki, Ambassador, Late Yakubu Tsalla, Executive Secretary, Nigerian Sugari council, Wace, Secretary, Federal Housing corporation, Nathaniel Yaduma, SSA to the president. This large heartedness cannot certainly come from a religious or ethnic bigot.

 On the contrary when BD was SGF, it was a common knowledge that he promoted the interest of his kilba nationality over and above other ethnic nationalities. Apart from pocket of tokenism to other nationalities here and there, he was intentional in securing appointments in CBN, FIRS, Road Safety and other organisation to his people.

 Those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

 The most worrisome about this gentleman is when he takes decision, he doesn't care how it affects other people that are with him. Let me give example with myself and Umar Suleiman.

 I was a national delegate at the convention that elected PBAT. Initially I was with Osibanjo. Being the arrow head of PBAT campaign, typical of his crude character he phoned me and was insulting Osibajo and that we were doomed, I didnt spare him and told him he could go to hell. I didn't stop there.

 I went to his Wattsup and polished the flow with him. He just wrote great thesis! Eventually his foot soldiers used persuasive language to convinced me. When he got the news he arranged a suit for me in the hotel and gave me the assignment to work on our Christian delegate which I did.

  But the surprisuing thing when PBAT selected his VP which was not according his expectations of a Christian, he bolted out without considering those of us that join PBAT because of him. He joined PO train without even consulting us. He used us and dumped us. Today im in APC without somebody to work for me. In fact because I don't belong to other camp I and others have been left in the cold. In fact, the most annoying thing, the other camp had fed their master i didn't vote for PBAT at the convention. Allah ya isa. This is to demonstrate how worthless being in the same political camp with BD.

 The same scenario is being played out in ADC. He came to the party scattered it and sent Binani and Abbo's groups packing. A A carried him along to the extent that he suruptetiously supported his cousin Umar Suleiman. Despite that he still worked against his presidential aspirations and after losing out he left with venomous utterances. 

  Here again in taking his ill thought decision, he is now undermining the chances of his cousin Suleiman. Can A A supporters trust Suleiman? They will simply strike a deal with Binani supporters by both supporting A A during the presidential election and both will support Binani during the Governorship election. They did that to AUF.

 It is quite unfortunate. BD is a bull in Chinese shop.
