A vibrant young man with a broad world view, with a cosmopolitan outlook and a beacon of hope for Adamawa and Nigeria who always present a non ethnically biased views to the disappointment of his kinsmen. I've been following Dr. Ardo's views on Adamawa and indeed Nigeria's socio political happenings. I found him unique and miles away from what his 'people' expect from him. Northern Nigeria's movie industry, known as  Hausa Cinema , was one of the first commercial film industries in sub-Saharan Africa. The industry was created by veteran journalists and actors from Radio Kaduna and RTV Kaduna in the 1950s. Today actors such as  Ali Nuhu , Adam A Zango, Sani Danja, and Ibrahim Maishukku are popular within the region. Since the 1990s the slow rise of  Islamic fundamentalism through the proselyte campaigns of the Izala Society , Northern Nigerian cinema has witnessed considerable setbacks and has now been dwarfed by its Southern Nigerian counterpart.

The Hausa Sultanates from the 9th to the 18th century produced numerous literary works.
