The Sama Nation:An Open Letter to Professor Maxwell Gidado, The Chief of Staff, Government House, Yola, Adamawa State, Nigeria.  Sir, I have taken time to reflect on Sama life and times before this my thoughts. THE SAMA NATION: 1. After you were sworn in as Chief of staff to His Excellency the Governor of Adamawa State, I texted you, impressing upon you that as the only Sama in powerful position in the Fintiri administration, I urged you to leverage on the opportunity to draw our Sama people closer to the government through deliberate upliftment into strategic positions. 2. I note sadly, that the opportunities to assert such influences are slipping away in the critical first year of the Fintiri administration. 3. I believe in justice and the rule of law, mindful of equity and fairness to all. With the largest population and significant contributions to the social and economic development of the state, the Sama deserve more than what we are getting from Adamawa State. 4. Spread sign...

REVEALED: How Obasanjo signs off Adamawa, Borno and Taraba to Cameroon The 72-hour ultimatum given by US to Cameroon to withdraw her military from the Anglophone North West and South West territories of the country expired over six days ago. Neither the US nor Cameroon has reacted to the expiration of the deadline as both countries kept mum over the issue. The Cameroonian National Assembly has however, made few concessions in education and judiciary at an extra ordinary session last Friday. The speaker of the National Assembly, Cavage Yeguie Djibril has told the Cameroonian government to fully implement the new law on decentralization that seeks to grant greater power to local councils and regions. Biya signed the law on the promotion of pfficial language in Cameroon, settlement law of the Republic of Cameroon for 2020 financia year on Tuesday, December 24, 2019. Igbo domination of the Nigerian Economy

Image
As coppied... See below and determine for yourselves who truly own Nigeria. You do not own a country by spoken words and grandstanding but by quality population, investments and possession: 1. 60% of the hotel and entire hospitality industry in Abuja are owned by Igbo. 2. 55% of total non-government investments in Abuja and the entire FTC belong to Igbo. 3. 45% of non-land investments in Northern Nigeria are owned by Igbo. 4. 90% of retail pharmacies in Abuja and FTC are owned by Igbo. 5. 40% of privately owned properties in Abuja and FTC are owned by Igbo. 6. 75% of trade in Boko Haram territory (onions, tomato’s, smoked fish and other vegetable and farm products) passing through the Cameroun corridor, are conducted by Igbo as end buyers. They move money to the primary buyers from the communities who buy and transport the products to them across the Cameroun border. 7. Practically all the rice smuggled across the unguarded Northern borders were brought there from Ya...

In contemprary Nigeria, is teaching a worthy profession?

Today is exactly one year, one month and eight days of the unfortunate accident that I had the early morning, about 5am, Saturday 31st March 2018 in a hotel in Karim Lamido town of K/Lamido LGÀ in Taraba State. I sustained fracture of the femur head of my right thigh bone. That moment of the accident I thought it was the end of life. The end of a checkered life of a thorough bred public servant who will go unknown, unappreciated, wronged, cheated and humiliated. Even in retirement I always nursed the feeling that some day, someone, the authorities will revisit my travails most of which were documented but few acted on, and restore my dignity and personal loss suffered financially and in ego. I was born in Faren Lai, a village six miles from Jada in Jada LGA (former Trust Territory) of Adamawa State. My father, Malam Bakari (Abubakar) one time the then acting village head of Gambe village, now in Mayo Belwa LGA of Adamawa State, in January 1946. At the tender age of five years I was ma...

Can Nigerian Kids compete favorably with kids around the world after 2020?!

Under the Clinton's Presidency, Chinese domination of the PHD programs in the US *became a national security issue.*  *They will research, defend and return to China and set business to rivals American business and efforts.* Here is the result.  *"On Made In China 2025.* On several occasions I run across these Chinese kids here in Georgia Tech, what surprises me is the type of courses they study.  *Almost all of them under Chinese government scholarship* here to study in *Americas best universities are studying courses that have to do with the future.* They study artificial intelligence, systems science and engineering, and hard core courses for tommorows World, *their social lives are zero and they always hold sophisticated telephones.* _Very suprizing, but China is a country that thinks ahead and every Chinese is a potential suspect._  *Have you ever heard of the concept, made in China 2025?*  It is Chinese Development blueprint that had sent f...

Michael Hart, The 100 most influential people

Image
Michael Hart, the author of the book "The 100 Most Influential People", it took him 28 years to complete it. He ranked Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) No 1 on the list. ----------------------------- While he was giving a lecture in London, he was booed and interrupted. People were complaining as to why he ranked Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) as No 1? He said: "The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) stood in the middle of Makkah in the year 611 and said to the people: 'I am the Prophet of Allah'. Four people believed in him; his BEST FRIEND, his WIFE and two KIDS! Now, even after 1400 years, the number of Muslims has gone over 1.5 billion and still expanding. He could not have been a liar, because a lie will not last 1400 years! nor could you fool 1.5 billion people! Another thing to ponder is that even after all this time, millions of Muslims will not hesitate to sacrifice their lives over one word that would hurt their Prophet". "Is there even one Christian will...
